I'm sure Kendall would rather be in Judy Collins on June 23rd.

Judy Collins is one of those sorta' "gaunt" types.   You know, the ones you think you could stick your dick right through and spin 'em around like a propeller.............

Judy Collins still has a great voice! To anyone who has an appreciation for good music, don't miss this chance to see her. I am surprised as anyone that she will be appearing in Kendal Town Hall, intimate venues such as these give you the chance to really enjoy an evening of great songs from a classy lady who will be singing literally, a few feet away from you. Don't let this chance to see her pass you by, she is simply terrific! Her voice will blow you away!!

She clearly likes the Lake District. In recent years, she's appeared at Workington and Sedburgh.

She's still a serious 12-string player, but she made her public debut at age 13, performing Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos. Now, she usually travels with her pianist Russell Walden.

She's got two acts - a conventional concert and a fascinating history of her whole career. I can't wait - I shall enjoy either.

I will never forget her performance in 2001 in Miami as part of a "package tour" along with Janis Ian, Richie Havens and Roger McGuinn.

It was only a couple of weeks after 9/11, and she sang an unbelievably moving version of " Give my Regards to Broadway " as a tribute to all those who had perished.

There was literally not a dry eye in the house, and I still well up to this day whenever I recall her performance ...

I saw Judy Collins in Liverpool a couple of years ago. I think I may have gloated about it on the Mudcat. She was magnificent. I'd go if I were you.

One Saturday, she was home alone and put on the radio. "We had a big Emerson console. I didn't listen to much radio. I turned it on and they were playing a song The Gypsy Rover (sings). I thought Oh My God, That's it."
