Be sure to read the comment by "thechangeling613" on that YouTube site.
Very enlightening.

You are seriously fucked in the head. Either you are from the south, or need a therapist.

What's the problem? I think the video is hilarious.

LOL!!! That is a wonderfully witty video. It's gonna be a great picture, and I predict that Daniel Day Lewis will win Best Actor easily.

What I am really anticipating, though, is his next upcoming role: "Daniel Day Lewis IS Chongo!"

It is a good video. It is not the thread title I chose. It is very rude to put words in my mouth without saying so,

You sayin' they changed yer thread title???

This is a serious question.

Why would they change yer thread title? Who did that? What was the title supposed to be?

- Chongo

Thanks, JtS. Great find. You should post it to the "gems" thread.

As for Greg F... bobad is spot on.

As for the change in title, I don't understand it. But I now do uderstand JtS's second post. As some may know, I get a tad testy myself when I find people "putting words in my mouth".

When you start a thread with a title guaranteed to start a fight, don't be surprised if a moderator changes it. Trolling in the BS section is bad enough already.

Obama's whole speech at the correspondent's dinner, including the Spielberg clip.

JtS, we can't edit people's names or delete them.
If someone else had started a thread with the same link and a non-trolling title, we would have combined them and, I'm pretty sure, used the more descriptive/less personal title. Add in the fact that you made a few complaining posts that will still be in the thread. Nobody should change the content of your posts, unless it's to fix HTML or edit per your request. Thread titles belong to Mudcat.

It was a good link to share with your friends here.

Here's the Kevin Spacey intro "House of Nerds". I tuned in too late to hear that, but watched most of the rest. Newt Gingrich squirmed a little, but seemed mostly to be amused. Bill O'Reilly seemed like he was sitting on a porcupine, but that was just one more thing I enjoyed.

The House of Nerds bit was funny.

Conan O'Brien mostly wasn't.

Conan O'Brien was OK, but it was hard to get past him seeming nervous as hell and reading his material. Very distracting.

Yeah... he did have some ad lib moments but Conan was NOT up to snuff in the manner he can be at times.

The president's set was excellent.

Today they're saying that O'Brien patterned his bit on Henny Youngman, and a number of commentators think it was successful. To me his reading was distracting- and the quick move to the next joke didn't help. They say he did about 50 jokes and gibes but in my opinion if he had slowed down in his delivery he would have done better with just 25.

But as I said, the president was excellent- good material and as good delivery as I've heard from professional comedians.

I agree, Ebbie. Conan was not on his game. He IS capable of far better. Been a problem of his for years. Still, he got some laughs... it was okay, albeit....

Yeah, the Pres done good.
