Subject: RE: Fort William area 10-16 May 2013 From: MoorleyMan Date: 08 May 13 - 04:48 AM Yeah Arthur_itus, thanks, I'd already planned a long walk up Glen Nevis, I know the area well from the mountains and hillwalking etc. Last time I came down from the Ben there was trace of the advertised session on that night, which is why I'd posted for an update on anything in the area. I'm actually staying a dozen miles northwest of Fort William so it's probably the closest focal point. |

Subject: RE: Fort William area 10-16 May 2013 From: Gallus Moll Date: 11 May 13 - 04:39 PM try a request on Footstompin forum? Are you anywhere near Glenfinnan? some excellent musicians in that area Good luck! |
Subject: RE: Fort William area 10-16 May 2013 From: Gallus Moll Date: 12 May 13 - 02:30 PM I looked in Oban Times - nothing to be seen, Don't know if there's another local paper, or maybe a What's On in Lochaber website? (We have one of those in my local area) I have asked the Q on your behalf on footstompin, so if you have a look you might see a reply -- - The other place to check is Nigel Gatherer's website forum, events - - there might be a listing or you can ask if anyone knows. |
