I seem to remember a song from the late sixties / early seventies where the chorus went something like:-

"So if you see
Someone with clogs on
Who eats black puddings that you wouldn't feed your dogs on
Looks a mess but doesn't care
A cloth cap covers up his hair
He's from the north of Manchester, so there"


I believe it may have been written by Harry Ogden from Rochdale. Any ideas?
