If you're flying out of New Haven you're using a small airport. You may want to look into Groton next time.

For future reference, when booking flights that land near Mystic, also check flights to Providence, RI. The airport is really in Warwick, RI, which is the city next to my town. The airport is right across from an entrance ramp to US Rt. 95 which is the main road leading to Mystic.

Mary... we plan on getting there Thurs. afternoon & can easily bring an extra sleeping bag for you to use on the Conrad... one less thing to deal with on the plane.

i did book a days in room in hartford near airport..free shuttle...for the night of june 4..two queen beds if any female wishes to share. that is tuesday.

I have a room with two queen beds booked at a nearby inexpensive motel for Thurs. through Sat. nights if a woman needs to share. Sharing with me will be no picnic, though! I won't be getting enough sleep and will probably be grumpy/cranky, but I'll try to be nice. Also difficult will be finding time to shower! I may have to choose between sleeping, showering, or eating, and my priorities will be eating, sleeping, and showering in that order.

I'll also be staying aboard the Conrad which is free. The bunks there are pretty basic but it's quiet, no singing permitted; I usually bring a sleeping bag and pillow. It's very convenient to the YTB (Youth Training Building) where some of the late night singing does happen.

a female friend of ours may be there for the festival and need lodging, but I need to confirm.

We stay onboard the Conrad and that should be an option for all performers who can handle naugahide mattresses... LOL.

I think I will see if I can stay in a motel in mystic..logistics and food which is complicated would be much easier. i have one booked but it is only one queen bed...it is right in mystic..i could take a rollaway bed for less money or the nice bed for more money..only booked for w th f..sat too expensive..sunday not bad...female only...quiet, mild snorer ok but not very loud snorer...
