The Harry Fox Agency (HFA) lists this song as one of many with the title "Let Them Talk," but the song that Hugh Laurie recorded is HFA file #L28702, written by L. Douglas, E. King, and H. Carlson. In addition to the recording by Hugh Laurie (known as an actor starring in the House TV series), the song was recorded by James Booker, Christian Willisohn, Davell Crawford, Fat Tuesday, John Cleary, and Marva Wright. Publishers are Quarted Music, Freddy Bienstock Music, and Sothern Music Publishing/Buckeye Music.
Wikipedia says Laurie premiered some of the classic blues songs on the Let Them Talk album in a small New Orleans club in March 2011, and then performed songs from the album at several venues in the UK. He relaesed the album in the UK in May, 2011, and it was the biggest-selling blues album of 2011 in the UK, with sales of 192,000 copies. The album was released in the US 6 September 2011.
It's a terrific album, with a terrific title song.

http://hughlaurieblues.com/ says Hugh Laurie was to release a second album, Didn't It Rain, was released in the UK in May, 2013.

My stepson was a big fan of House, and I get the impression it was an excellent TV series. I haven't seen it.

LET THEM TALK
(L. Douglas, E. King, and H. Carlson)

Just let them talk,
If they want to.
Talk don´t bother me.

I´m gonna keep on till the whole wide world knows,
That I really love you, I really love you so.

And let them whisper, for they know not
What´s between you and I.
I´m gonna keep on, I´m gonna keep on loving you,
Till the day that I die.

They tried to break up our romance,
They didn´t stand a chance.
We have the kind of love that's so strong,
We´d be together from now on.

They´ll say that gossip comes from the devil´s workshop,
And only true love can make it stop.
I´m gonna keep on, I´m gonna on loving you,
Till the day that I die.

Oh they're envious of everything that we do.
But I wanna say it´s wonderful -
When you love someone,
and that someone, and that someone really loves you,
and that someone, yeah that someone really loves you,
and that someone, and that someone really loves you-

Yeah-

And that someone, yeah, that someone really loves you.
