Hi. I heard a brilliant, rather bawdy, and very funny version of the "Teddy Bears Picnic" song at The Hardraw gathering at the weekend and would like to get hold of the lyrics if they are freely available.
Any help much appreciated.
"If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise...."
Many thanks.
Chris

Try Patrick from Alford. He used to sing it quite a lot

If it's the Teddy Bears' Rave-up, I posted the words in this earlier thread.

Will Hall - caller and MC - also used to sing the Teddy Bears' Rave-up quite a lot, and was persuaded to give us a rendition at Wimborne Minster folk festival the weekend before last.

It was quite likely Mick Darling singing it. He and Susie are on Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, and I'm sure he'd be happy to give you the words. If you can't contact him come back to me as I have an email.
