Same here.

Safari, iPad which is where I mostly read muscat these days.

I also have Firefox in Linux & a Samsung tablet where I am using the default browser. I will have to check those later when I get home

Also for me Firefox v22 in Linux Mint and the default browser in my Samsung Galaxy Android tablet.

This suggests to me that the problem is not specific to Firefox.

Same for me. using GoogleChrome in Vista, it jumps to the bottom.

I din't have the problem when it was first raised but I have now - using firefox. However, I have just run a slew of MS updates - could this have something to do with it?

Two days ago, mine too started jumping to the bottom. Not a big problem but curiouser and curiouser.

I use Google Chrome. It goes to the bottom of the page. Has done since last week. Don't know why.

I had the original problem, but Mudcat acts as it should at the moment. Using Iceweasel (Firefox clone) on Linux.

Sorry to bother you all but I can't find where in Firefox I go to take out cookies. Surely I used to go into Tools then Options but I can't find it now?
When this scroll leap thing happens there are heaven knows what addresses whizzing by at the bottom of the screen and as a long shot I was going to weed out unknown cookies.

Found it. Used to be a Button said Show Cookies but now there's a less obvious text link
Didn't make any difference

It now jumps to the bottom with me too. Is it a Firefox thing or has the code been altered here?

Cheers

It's not just Firefox. Does it with Google Chrome too.

FF 22.0 here

Not noticed much, but Lyrics & Knowledge seems to open at the bottom instead of the top.

Worth adding that I get this when I go to the main page no matter what.

this happens to me (scrolls to the bottom) also
both on Firefox 22 and Chrome
but not on Internet Explorer
I am using Windows 7

on Chrome the black bar at the top
"support mudcat by shopping at Amazon" appears
but that does not appear on Firefox or Internet Explorer
is that somehow involved in this strange behavior??

It makes going through the posts somewhat tedious, annoying

The bottom is where the big advert is.

Is this significant?

Laptop was running a little slow today. Mudcat hung while waiting for
www.2345.com

Only after that did it scroll to the bottom of the page.

Well done that man! It seems to be back to normal now (Windows 7, Firefox).
