Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Gurney Date: 26 Jul 13 - 05:58 PM Jumping back to bottom. Firefox, XP. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Tootler Date: 27 Jul 13 - 03:18 AM Same here. Safari, iPad which is where I mostly read muscat these days. I also have Firefox in Linux & a Samsung tablet where I am using the default browser. I will have to check those later when I get home |

Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Tootler Date: 27 Jul 13 - 04:32 PM Also for me Firefox v22 in Linux Mint and the default browser in my Samsung Galaxy Android tablet. This suggests to me that the problem is not specific to Firefox. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Kampervan Date: 27 Jul 13 - 05:05 PM Same for me. using GoogleChrome in Vista, it jumps to the bottom. Very annoying. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: SteveMansfield Date: 28 Jul 13 - 10:16 AM Me, er, several-th - on Chrome both on Windows 8 and on iPad. Most inconvenient. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Sir Roger de Beverley Date: 28 Jul 13 - 10:35 AM I din't have the problem when it was first raised but I have now - using firefox. However, I have just run a slew of MS updates - could this have something to do with it? R |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Ebbie Date: 28 Jul 13 - 11:46 AM Two days ago, mine too started jumping to the bottom. Not a big problem but curiouser and curiouser. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: GUEST Date: 28 Jul 13 - 03:20 PM I use Google Chrome. It goes to the bottom of the page. Has done since last week. Don't know why. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Newport Boy Date: 28 Jul 13 - 05:13 PM I had the original problem, but Mudcat acts as it should at the moment. Using Iceweasel (Firefox clone) on Linux. Phil |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: JHW Date: 29 Jul 13 - 04:26 PM Sorry to bother you all but I can't find where in Firefox I go to take out cookies. Surely I used to go into Tools then Options but I can't find it now? When this scroll leap thing happens there are heaven knows what addresses whizzing by at the bottom of the screen and as a long shot I was going to weed out unknown cookies. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: JHW Date: 29 Jul 13 - 04:42 PM Found it. Used to be a Button said Show Cookies but now there's a less obvious text link Didn't make any difference |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Joe_F Date: 29 Jul 13 - 09:40 PM I, too, spoke too soon. The pest came back again. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Rapparee Date: 29 Jul 13 - 09:46 PM I, too, am falling to the bottom using Firefox 22. |

Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Mr Red Date: 30 Jul 13 - 12:34 PM FF 22.0 here Not noticed much, but Lyrics & Knowledge seems to open at the bottom instead of the top. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Mr Red Date: 30 Jul 13 - 12:38 PM correction, it opens at the top but scrolls immediately to the bottom. |

Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: DrugCrazed Date: 31 Jul 13 - 07:10 PM Worth adding that I get this when I go to the main page no matter what. |
Subject: RE: Tech: Mudcat acting differently in Firefox? From: Stewart Date: 31 Jul 13 - 07:44 PM this happens to me (scrolls to the bottom) also both on Firefox 22 and Chrome but not on Internet Explorer I am using Windows 7 on Chrome the black bar at the top "support mudcat by shopping at Amazon" appears but that does not appear on Firefox or Internet Explorer is that somehow involved in this strange behavior?? It makes going through the posts somewhat tedious, annoying S. in Seattle |
