I'm trying to identify the performing musicians and source of this recording of 'New River Train.' Can anyone help?

New River Train
Recording begins at 3:20.

Amy O.

The video stopped before anyone started singing New River Train, so I couldn't tell from the instrumentation.

Flatt & Scruggs? Jim and Jesse? Grandpa Jones? Somebody like that....

Well, not Flatt & Scruggs, because that's not three-finger banjo playing. I've always associated this song with the new Lost City Ramblers, but they sang it in harmony and this recording is a soloist. So, add me to those who have no idea.

It's not this, is it: http://www.loc.gov/jukebox/recordings/detail/id/10211/ Kelly Harrell from 1925.

Thanks for the guesses.
Re: Kelly Harrell, I sure hear similarity in the voices, but that 1925 recording is not as contemporary and apparently he stopped recording in 1929..

Am not hearing the same vocalist in Jim and Jesse or Grandpa Jones. Please keep those ideas comin'!
