I have not posted here since the beginning Charlie but now seems like the time again.

Those of us who believe in the power of good thoughts, prayers, mojo, whatever ya' got, are sadly all too well aware that like medical science that is so wonderful yet sometimes fails, we too fail in the end....because for all of us there sadly is an end. But I tell you what we do better......We'll be around here and easy to reach to offer whatever we can for as long as you need it.

Way too many people leave us far too soon. Frankly I have always thought that "far too soon" meant something different for each person. Matter of fact, I think we have both known a few who........let's skip that and move on........

The ones we love though will always leave far too soon. When they go they leave huge holes in our hearts. As time passes the joys of remembering become less sad and begin to refill the holes with a happiness that is different than before, but a happiness just the same.   Additionally the warmth and friendship of those who love you will also help to fill that hole. For that we are here.

Keep smiling through the tears and make each day, hour, and minute, a sharing of the love you have for each other. Hell man, that's the only thing this life is about......loving each other.

Gnu what a truth that is emotions are like a pressure cooker hold them to tightly inside and when they do break out it does damage, tears are the valve that allows us to gently release that pressure.

It's now just a matter of time but, Ann's still communicating and it could be quite a while yet, which makes for a whole range of emotions. The staff at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary are outstanding and she couldn't be in better hands. Take care and thanks as ever.
