Sorry Sue, I'm still stuck in Sakhalin.

Saw them "open" for a Russ Barenberg solo gig in the back room of a pub in Derbyshire the night after I'd seen him play with Transatlantic Sessions at the Festival Hall in London....190 miles each way and well worth it. Sylvia knew I was coming a long way and made sure my friend Sarah and I got just about the best seats in the house.

But 8000 miles each way is a long way for a gig :-(

Thanks Guest and Shimrod for the reccomendations. Now we need bums on seats. On my pricing structure for the Folk Club (i.e) Artist's Fee divided by average attendance the door price is £10.00. I took 30 discounted tickets to the last club night, having promoted the discount by way of email, and website at £3.00 off. I sold one. What's up with people ?

Come to Orpington Friday Folk on August 30th for Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham. This will be one of 2 Kent Club gigs this year. They will not be at Tenterden as they have been booked for Derby.
I know it clashes with Fylde, but hope some of you catters will be around.

Orpington Friday Folk is ree-opening one week earlier than planned after the summer break. This is probably the only chance that you will get to see Keith and Sylvia at Orpington Friday Folk.
