I saw it on my timeline, not on the Mudcat page. I didn't say anything because I think I did a couple years ago, but yeah, he's very good!

Robert Downey Jr sounds great! A bit like Der Stingel himself. Excellent song, too.

I posted with a question "Comments please. Is it okay to post this on this page." Then, I linked to something... a protest song with Sting and RDJr... http://www.boreme.com/posting.php?id=37536

All I have heard so far is great comments from Mudcatters. I would suppose some would simply click it off and not comment. But, the comments and discussion reaffirm my belief that folk music, blues, trad songs forever back, are mostly songs of protest and will always be accepted whether they are accoustic (thanks, Amos) or incorporate modern tech and even different rythyms and tones. What is folk? It is what it is... and this IS folk. This IS protest.

Whatever. I just was very surprised that RDJr can sing and that this song is such a wonerful protest against apathy.
