Had a great time.....highlights...

Phat Bollard- superb street band.
Paul Downes/Maggie Boyle- a super concert.
Gog Magog- a firm favourite of mine and they didn't disappoint.
Dukes- always an enigmatic experience.

AND tons of friends.

One question: I figured somebody on Mudcat would know.

I know two people who tried to link up with the traditional "March to the Sea" from the Middle Bar, but in fact couldn't find it.   In past years it had been Thursday of the festival week, at 3 PM.   Has it been moved to a different day?    Or has the tradition--sadly--died out?

Thanks,

Ron

There's a video of some of it on the Sidmouth Herald site here (about 2 minutes in.) Scroll down the page to find the video section.

I was elsewhere at the time so can't confirm time/date, only that it happened.

Thanks, Steve.    Yup, it's all there.    I recognized virtually everything in the video--and lots of people.   Couldn't make it this year myself due to family problems.   What a wonderful capsule of the Prom activities, etc.

It's so great to know it rolls on.

Vive la Fringe!
