Recently I have discovered through mudcat and u-tube some wonderful singer song writers, most of whom are now no longer with us. It's a great pleasure to find someone like William writing beautiful songs in the here and now.

Hey, another traveller, his mother (Jessie nee Stewart) and mine were cousins. I've been praising Wullie for a couple of years now. A very talented man, with a lovely voice and a very nice guitar style too.

I was listening for the third time since early in the day when I created this thread... with the speakers UP. The accent and unknown to me words take me a bit of effort at some points, but I find it... just lovely. I seldom hear a song only once and simply like it. I liked this one at the first line. Loved it before the end of the first verse.

Sorry for perhaps going OTT, William but, when I am blown away by a work of art, I say so. I got a track record to live up to, eh?

Maybe I shouldn't post this. After all, I filtered for it and, near as I can tell, he didn't post a link here at Mudcat. But, he posted his song on the Mudcat Facebook page so I take liberty in linking to his song that I just find absolutely lovely. Hit submit or not? YUP!
