I got this request by e-mail today. Can anybody help?

I'm trying to find a song called Paddy McTeige's soup or McTeigue's beef. It's a song from the economic war and is mentioned by Tom Munnelly but I can find neither lyrics nor any information about any recording. Can anyone help?

    Anne Clune

The song was collected by Tom and is included in his papers housed among his papers at UCD in Dublin.
He recorded it in the Cooraclare area from a singer named Joe Cooney.
It is sung elsewhere by singer and flute player Séamus Mac Mathúna, who almost certainly got it from the same source.
Séamus was the archivist for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann
