Well I'm back!...after replacing a dead hard drive and months of catching up to do... Thought I'd see if any of you could tell me if there are any videos available for any of the folk festivals..as I have been sort of in the backwaters of Central MN & never been able to attend any of them.. You've all never let me down before..so what do you say???..Gary

There are some videosm of some of the blues and old timey workshops from the 6o's. They are available through Stefan Grossman.

I remember seeing a documentary titled "Festival" back in about '68 or '69. It was about the Newport Festival - it had all the classic electrified Dylan brouhaha, but the best parts (as my memory serves me) were the other music and musicians. Anyone know if this has ever made it to video? Bootleg, even?

I agree...electrified music leaves me a little cold..I wish I could have been there, or any of them, for that matter... What I'm looking for is a variety of musicians with different styles, themes, etc. Also, as I've a T-Bone desire, but just a hot dog wallet...I'm not necessarily looking for a professional high production tape.. My friends always tease me because of my "quantity", not necessarily "quality" approach. After all it's hard to get a real high quality recording from a guy that's been dead 20 years!... Thanks for your input..any others..?
