Jackie Oates has one in her musical armoury as well as a shruti box. Lots of plans available, so you couls make one or have one made to your own design. The smaller models do turn up on ebay. Palms ofmichael king http://www.michaeljking.com/plans.htm

Don't know where to get one, but I heard one played beautifully this past weekend by the Finnish group, Kardememmit (currently on tour in the U.S.). Videos here: clicky.

Where would one go to purchase a "concert" kantele, one with 30 or more strings? I've seen Koistinen kanteles, but I was wondering if there are any other makers of these larger kanteles?

Thanks!
