Lichfield Arts are delighted to welcome back this charismatic and captivating Teesside trio – Sean Cooney, David Eagle and Michael Hughes. It's almost ten years since they first started out as eighteen year olds at Stockton Folk Club but their nickname 'The Young'uns' has stuck ever since. Now regulars on the folk circuit both in the UK and across Europe, last year they were signed by Navigator Records and released their notable fourth album 'When Our Grandfathers Said No'. Known for their spontaneity and great audience rapport expect a truly entertaining evening as The Young'uns deliver their tight harmonies and fine instrumentation. Traditional sea and working songs are interwoven with original material, all with great humour.
