I am enjoying the older DVD series, Detective Montalbano.
In Italian but fairly good subtitles. Very true to the novels, excellent photography and presentation.

Anyone watching the new series "Il Giovane Montalbano" ("The Young Montalbano")on BBC4 at the moment? It's a great series, with a lovely song over the closing credits called "Vuci mia cantannu vai", sung by Olivia Sellerio, and you can hear it sung here.
