Yep, he finished with guitars several years ago as exposure the chemicals involved in hand finishing had made him ill. He isn't making instruments any more so if you have one, hold on to it. The future Stradivarius of guitars.

John Hullah is not luthering any more (as far as I am aware) and last I heard was trading in astronomical telescopes etc.

I expect you've already seen the various listings for John Hullah at 192.com, several of which are from recent UK electoral lists, and have tried the Glandford address listed on a few music sites online?
