Subject: Our wonderful, multi-talented MAX! From: open mike Date: 11 Oct 13 - 09:29 PM I hope you don't mind me posting this Max. Max's page from Penn State Well, if you do, you can probably just delete it! I am proud to be associated with mudcat! I never cease to be amazed at the multiple talents of our fearless leader, Max! Max's blues radio show He also is a writer, helps to produce films, and more! I wonder why Penn State is such a hot bed of folk culture? I have been a long-time member of the list serve Folk D.J. which along with its Folk Radio web site also imminate from State College, PA. here are some informative lists of song themes compiled from folk d.j. archives and elsewhere... http://www.wpsu.org/radio/folk/resources/ |

Subject: RE: Our wonderful, multi-talented MAX! From: Nigel Parsons Date: 12 Oct 13 - 02:15 PM I echo the sentiments. We had Max over here in Wales a couple of years ago. Unfortunately we had to let him go back. I was a little worried by the first post though, I though he'd been doing a Johnny Cash. Then I realised it said "Max's page from Penn State", not from "State pen." Cheers Nigel |
