I just looked on the midi page and the filter and couldn't find the midi, I don't know if that's because it has not been posted yet or that im not looking properly!!

brillent!! I have got a program on my computer that converts midis into ABC notation, I will look for the midi now =-)

I've made a MIDI of the song, and I'll send it in for posting.

Emily, it can take a while for a MIDI to get posted. Sometimes they appear right away, and sometimes the person whose job it is to post them is out of town (or some such) and there is a delay.

So don't give up. If the MIDI doesn't appear right away, check back in a couple days.

The tune I worked from on YouTube is in the key of B-flat. I'm going to move it up to C.

I had a hard time getting the last notes, where basically they are yelling 'da da da da da something something!"

I'm hoping that once the MIDI is available, some kind soul will come along and produce the ABC file from it.

Emily- when you use the Filter, try "blackbird" and set the time to "all".

We still lack the ABC/tune that Emily seeks. Can anyone help?

It also seems to me this has been discussed on Mudcat. Have you used the Filter on the homepage to look?..aha! Look here for discussion, lyrics, etc.- no ABC links that I can see:

Does anyone know the abc notation/notes for the song The Blackbird by The Wurzels, would be a great help because I would love to play this on piano accordion =-)
