Subject: Audlem Bagpipe and Hurdy-Gurdy Day 2013 From: Mr Happy Date: 25 Oct 13 - 12:02 PM This year's 'Audlem Bagpipe and Hurdy-Gurdy Day' will be held on Saturday 9th November at 12:00 in 'The Bridge' in Audlem, Cheshire. As with previous years, all musicians and abilities are welcome for an afternoon of drone music. Any prospective players, please come along and have a listen. If you think the hurdy-gurdy or the pipes (of various sorts and sizes) is the instrument for you, come along and talk to like-minded people. There will be at least one player who will allow beginners to have a try, so come and give it a go. This event's not restricted to pipes & gurdies - other insts also welcome Geoff Turner, Ian Bloor and John Hardy. 01270- 811446 or ikb at kinseycottages.org.uk |
