The garden of sounds pre Christmas Folk & Ale will be Fri 6th to Sunday 8th December. Admission, as always is free. Just enjoy the fine range of locally sourced REAL ALES!

I will be there from 1.00pm on Friday, prepared to host any early arrivals in a singaround/session.

There is free camping for anyone foolhardy, or with self contained heating, enough to survive the weekend. Be aware that it DOES get very cold on that exposed hilltop field and there are no electrical hookups.

"NO WORRIES" will supply the support in the accomplished and melodious fashion for which they have become well known in the Live Music and Festival Scene, setting the scene for "LARKSPUR" to kickstart the weekend on the Friday evening from 9.00pm till closing in their usual ultra high energy, foot tapping lively style..

Two top flight acts NOT TO BE MISSED

Saturday will be Open Mic from 1.00pm to 4.30pm, when "HARTLEY MORRIS" will host a singaround featuring their Mummer's Play. At 9.00 pm until closing time,the Headline Act will be "RON TRUEMAN BORDER & THE STRANGERS", firm Vigo favourites from previous festivals and very popular in, and far beyond the Home Counties

Sunday afternoon will be a mixed Singaround/Session starting at 1.00pm and ALL MUSICIANS, SINGERS AND AUDIENCE ARE INVITATED TO COME PLAY, SING, LISTEN, RECITE, OR ALL OF THE ABOVE, until 6.00pm - ish.

Running order is below, and I would be pleased to pre book Open Mic spots for the Saturday, which are, as you can see limited to just seven 30 minute spots.

So GRAB ONE while you can! You KNOW it makes sense!
