thanks everyone but the song I'm after is a comedy song with such lines as " I could't stand the exorcise" and the punch line was "if only my mummy had told me was she was too wrapped up to care"

There is also a Kipling poem called The Vampire, set to music by Keith Marsden. It's in the book ' Picking Sooty Blackberries '

There's a lovely, haunting song called "The Vampire" by Buffy Sainte-Marie. Those lyrics are fairly easy to find.

I've joined twice Dave but each time I've been bumped off, no idea why. I've been in touch with the powers at be who re-ininstated my membership but it only lasted for a short time.

Can you let me have the words of your vampire song? We(cmr) sang it in our show "tales of otherness" but sarah sang it while we hummed so we never needed the words! Thanks Mick, or anyone lese who has the words and responds to this
