Well, I play Fyldes and Martins, but my daughters boyfriend has a LAG. He brought it over a while ago and whilst they were away I thought that I would re-string it for him and put a set of elixirs on it. It sounded fantastic. Really really good - I was, frankly, amazed. I had never heard of the make before, but would not hesitate in reccomending them.

Don't know what happened there... the munchkins took away my text.

This Christmas Holiday is getting better by the minute.

We had annual Boxing Day get together at our house the other day and after showing the new LAG off to my guitar playing friends, I mnentioned that Mrs Bugsy had also given me a Stomp Box for Christmas and that all that I needed now was an amp to top things off.

Well... Would you believe it>? A good mate of mine said, (Cool as you like) I've got an amp you can have. I've only used it a couple of times and it's just sitting there and I won't use it again. You may as well have it. I'll drop it off in a day or two."
Wouldn't take anything for it either!

He dropped it off today, i'ts a KUSTOM SIENNA30 acoustic guitar amp and it's like new! Still has the Kustom card ticket on it.

So now I'm sitting here in front of my new amp with my Stomp box plugged in and my LAG connected by my Dean Markley Promag Plus pickup that's been gathering dust for several months, and it all sounds FANTASTIC!

I AM A HAPPY MAN!!!!

Well, Surprise of the year!~

Mrs Bugsy presented me with a LAG T100D six string Dreadnought Guitar for Christmas.

Sounds fantastic and shines like GOLD!

I have their 12string cutaway semi acoustic..an absolute delight..plugged and unplugged..how they do it for the money is beyond me!!

As I can find no mention of the 4seasons range of guitars on the website, I assume that the Spring,Summer, Autumn and Winter models have been replaced with the 1,2,3,& 400 models respectively.

Has anyone got a 400 and how does it compare musically to the 100?

I too have a Lag "Summer" bought about six years ago.
I was looking at guitars under £500 and for just under the £300 paid the quality of the sound , both plugged and unplugged, was very good value.
I liked the look of the guitar although rarely venture above the 12th fret so the cut away was not essential.
A full time professional told me that the quality of the pick up was exceptional for a guitar in this price range.

I'm with you, Bugsy, I also prefer non-cutaway guitar bodies. I've got a Tak with a cutaway and it's a bugger to play sitting down - keeps slipping off my leg.

Thank you for the input so far Peoples.

Yes, I have seen the LAG Guitar site Pete, and interesting and informative though it is, they are not likely to tell me of any shortcomings or pitfalls that their guitars might possess.
I was a bit mystified as to why they only put electrics into cutaway models? I personally like the uncut version better.


I think I'll go back next week and have another play. In the meanitem I look forward to any other opinions/reviews on the guitars.

One of my son's friends he share a flat with has a LAG Summer cut away acoustic which I played when I was visiting. Nice action and easy to play. Neck felt quite small (a little like the Tanglewood I have) and easy in my hand. Pleasant sound quite bright and light - don't know what the electrics are like or what it sounds like amplified.

When I looked inside for make and model I realised it was made in France - not sure why that was a surprise.

Only thing I did find was that the first and sixth strings seemed to be closer to the edge of the guitar than I am used to which felt slightly curious.

Overall nice guitar to play

don't own one but I've played a few i liked and a buddy has one. seems like good value for money if you're after a mid-range pricewise.

I've just found a LAG acoustic guitar in my local guitar shop. Looks and sounds great, and at a very reasonable price.

Does anyone own or have any experience with thhese guitars?

Your input would be greatley appreciated.
