BBC Radio 3's Composer of the Week has 5 programmes studying Icelandic music. It includes Folk as well as Classical.

I think he may be more active on Mudcat's Facebook page than he has been here recently, but he does still show up here once in a while. I also thank you for the link, and I'm glad Maeve will contact Skarpi.

Count me out. The series is presented by the Cold Warrior bigot Donald Macleod, who is the main reason I stopped listening to Radio 3 years ago.

I see he managed to work a piece by Prokofiev into the programme. The sole reason for that will be for him to rant about the evils of Stalinism.
