I gather from elsewhere that D'Aquisto guitar strings have ceased tobe. That's a bit of a nuisance. If I ever wanted a set of boomers I'd use their 740 set (13-58).

1. Can anyone verify?
2. Can anyone offer enlightenment on precisely what went wrong?
3. Can anyone suggest recommended alternatives with a sweet zing at the top and a big fat loud bottom, and preferably good durability?

Ah. Minor snag. I'm in the UK and stuff from the USA suffers customs delays and charges and high delivery costs.

Thank you both Guests. Nothing with a 58 bottom string on either. I have ordered some NoS D'Aquisto brass in 13-58 and I will see what they do. If they are not good (or once the old stock has run out) I'll probably finish up back on Elixir Nanowebs in light-medium ie 12-56.
