There is a pretty complete list of the Gloucestershire sessions in the Glosfolk Diary which is updated every few days

The Boat Band will be at Gloucester, having fun. Here we are at the festival a couple of years back

Bonjour, M Rouge !
Now that I live in Tewkesbury, maybe I should get out more to places like Gloucester . Although personally Cajun isn't my "thing" ; having said that , I enjoyed seeing / hearing "The Flatville Aces" at the New Forest Arts Centre when I lived in Christchurch ( and watching the enthusiastic gyrations of their several coachloads of dancing fans !).And of course there's a very charismatic cajun fiddler on "Transatlantic sessions" whom I enjoyed watching.
Meanwhile , if you know of any English / Irish / Old Time / "sessions" in this area I'd be grateful if you'd let me know !
                      Roger

The bestest Cajun Band in England IMNSHO.
Coming to Gloucester Cajun Festival 25-27th Jan
they are appearing in the Guildhall on Jan 26th at 6:30pm.

Season tickets were at 50GBP but may have gone up, though the website doesn't say so.

Bit of a wrench for me as there is a French Dance in Horsley (nr Stroud) at 8pm. And a ceilidh the other side of Gloucester. Maybe Cajun then French, ne c'est pas?
