Judy's own ballad choices: Utah Carroll or Zebra Dun; Jack Haggarty or Shanty Boy on the Big Eau Clair. March 2014 10.45 a.m.- 4.45 p.m. Elephant & Castle, Lewes, White Hill Lewes BN7 2DJ Judy lifts the spirit & entertains with splendid traditional ballads & songs from a huge & varied Anglo-American repertoire. Her unaccompanied presentation & delivery are a great example to any singer & combine with her joy of singing to delight all listeners. In the forum Judy will perform & lead discussion of ballads which have crossed to America from Britain. You are invited to bring at least one ballad to sing & talk about. To avoid clashes with other contributors, please state your preferred ballad in advance. If your choice has already been taken we will let you know so that you can choose another. If in doubt about what counts as a ballad, please use the contact email or phone to ask. ON SATURDAY 22nd.
