Ralph McLean had a long interview with Donovan Leitch broadcast tonight on BBC Radio Ulster. I turned the radio on at around 9.30, heard someone refer to "Pete Seeger" so I was hooked and listened to the rest of the programme which ended with the 10 pm news. Most of the talk was about 1960s and the links between folk and pop music, Donovan's encounters with people like Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Alan Ginsburg and his collaboration with the Beatles. He quoted George Harrison as saying "the White Album has Donovan written all over it"
