OK, I use the term loosely but I still enjoyed listening and wish them both the very best...
:-)

From Edinburgh, young Anna McLuckie

From The Poozies, our very own Sally Barker

I liked the way Anna the harpist began but was not struck by the chorus of the pop song. To me , it did not flow well, but an interesting voice though.

Dear Pete - that is the way that song goes, however! I much preferred her version of it to the original.
Didn't Sally do well?

Personal taste of course but i kind of agree with Pete. Verse was lovely but the chorus was messy and didn't seem to lend itself to her arrangement on the harp.

Ah, you put it more precisely, Allan. But yes Anne better than the original!    Sally sounded good but I thought that in a non folk context that it could have lifted more.
