What lovely show he put on to a fullish house in unique setting, such is the Royal Naval Association in Uxbridge, worth a visit in itself, warm audience.

great to see he is stirring a little interest here.

I have all his CDs and particularly enjoy his Dreams of Fields of Glory , but really do like it when he also sings Stan R's songs.

I will be going to enjoy his performance in Uxbridge this Thursday.

Nice singer, player and person. When he was visiting a couple of years ago and playing in York he was staying with friends and came and spent the evening before in our local singaround.

To me, Dan's the man! He's playing at Llantrisant Folk Club at the Windsor Hotel, Pontyclun on Wednesday, January 22 (8.30pm, very near Pontyclun station bridge.) Admission £8, £5 for members.

Dan's a brilliant songwriter, a wonderful guitarist, a hypnotic storyteller and a stunning dark-brown voice; I'm in charge of the Club, as Pat and Ned are on tour in New Zealand, and I'm really looking farward to introducing him.

Because of this thread, I just sent an email to my penpal-since-childhood in Lincolnshire. She and her husband live about a half-hour from the Spalding Folk Club where Dan has a gig. She and I like similar music, so maybe she'll be able to go with her husband or with friends.
