There was a concert in Glasgow at Celtic Connections on Weds 29th Jan, the day after the announcement that Pete had died came through. The concert had obviously been planned months before but was a tribute to Matt McGinn, Ewan McColl and Pete Seeger. I wasn't 't there but heard it was a great concert with the final songs being Pete's.
Perhaps someone will come up with a full Pete Seeger concert at next year's Celtic Connections?
And after Matt McGinn died, it was Pete himself who advised us to "Keep Matt Singing!", so let's now do the same for Pete!

My guess is that all sorts of folk clubs, sessions etc up and down the country will raise a glass to Pete in the next few days. Don't know about any big events, though.
