Folk might have seen the Girvan 40th archive photo/story exhibition at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall during Celtic Connections. Now confirmed, the exhibition will now be staged at the McKechnie Institute in Girvan from 5th April through to June. Check it out during the festival weekend 2nd to 4th May…...

It will be great to see and hear, Ellen & Kevin Mitchell once again, Brian Millar and the rest of the Stars band and the "40 years of Girvan in photo and story" !!!!!!! Should be good - should be even better than good.

2014 celebrates the 40th Girvan Folk Festival, 2nd - 4th May. .. many will remember many of those years and the great folk performers who graced the stage at Girvan.. This years fabulous guest list reflects that history with the return of ALTAN to Girvan..
