Subject: Nigel Pennick info required From: cptsnapper Date: 24 Mar 14 - 10:19 AM Hello: does Nigel's name ring a bell with anyone: it's just that he was taken ill recently and seems to be out of contact and it would be nice to be able to re-establish contact with him. He took over the running of the Sunday lunchtime sessions which Jennie and I originally ran at the Hardwicke Arms, Arrington. Thanks, George Norris |
Subject: RE: Nigel Pennick info required From: Bat Goddess Date: 24 Mar 14 - 10:45 AM In his late 60s? Wrote on ley lines, runes, labyrinths and the like? Geomancer? I've read some of his books and journal articles...didn't know there was a folk music connection. (Alas for me...) He had a website at one time, but it seems to be "parked", meaning it's not administrated or maintained but no one else has claimed that domain name. Linna |

Subject: RE: Nigel Pennick info required From: Stu Date: 25 Mar 14 - 06:56 AM I've read several of his books, and he was a contributer to The Ley Hunter and Norther Earth, if I remember correctly. I hope he recovers soon. |
