I learned this song and memorized it sitting at friend's house many years ago. Now shes gone and the house is gone and I don't know who recorded it or even what its real title is. Here's the first bit: I'll tell you what I'm feeling, Lord, anyday I'll shake these bones and shout and sing my life away, I'll shake these bones and I will shout and sing my life away for it won't be long before these bones turn to clay

A very nice a capella version of this song with harmonies et al. was recorded some years ago by Cindy Kallet, Ellen Epstein and Michael Cicone. The album is called "Angels In Daring". Hope you can find it somewhere. They also do a great version of "The last Leviathan"

Hi all -- Ive been searching for a recording of the song that goes --"Ill tell you what im feelin lord any day, ill shake these bones and shout and sing my life away, Ill shake these bones and I will shout and sing my life away, for it wont be long before these bones turn to clay." Kinda accapella gospel--Heard it years ago-- learned it by heart- but have lost track of who wrote and recorded it. I sing it alot but never know who to give the credit to. thank you

"Shake These Bones" was written by Malcolm Dalglish. It was recorded by Dalglish and Gray Larson on their "First of Autumn" album. It was also recorded by Cindy Kallet, Freyda Epstein and Michael Ciccone on their trio album. The words are in Rise Up Singing
