I got an email from Gordon Menzies today. I can't believe it's been 10 years!
They are one of the reasons I want to go back to Scotland.

Not that brain dead's post (above) says more about the poster than the subject, IMO.

Opinions are like ass holes. we all have one.
Gordon and Robin are friends of mine, and if I gave a rats ass about that guys opinion I might be offended.

I wish someone in America would write and sings songs about this country. I appreciate them for what they do, and it doesn't have to be "Folk".

I'm with Not That Brain Dead, whoever he or she is.

In the political situation Scotland is in right now, we need Gaberlunzie's repertoire of crude militaristic nationalist anthems like a hole in the head. And that's all they can do. They're an embarrassing liability.

I agree with you JC, the worst sort of rabble rousing Nationalist crap I've ever heard...and that was in the nineteen seventies...I don't suppose they've changed much since!

Some of us south of the Border rather agree with them: if they'd had their way in the 1970s we'd have been spared Blair and Broon. And Gove.

Is Gove from up there? -thought there was something fishy about him

If we all liked the same thing, they would run out of chocolate ice cream in one day.

Good people and if you don't like their music, don't listen!
