Information for South Yorks folkies, Pete Coe and Alice Jones will be guests at Kivetom Park Folk Club Tuesday 29th April.
Pete is a regular and popular guest at Kiveton, bringing with him many years of club and festival experience, a whole load of musical talent and an enviable song repertoire. A firm Kiveton favourite. On this visit he will be accompanied by Alice Jones who has performed at major UK festivals with the John Dipper Band and is an accomplished pianist and whistle player. Pete and Alice have just launched their double CD 'The Search for Five Finger Frank' featuring traditional songs, broadsides, tunes and ballads gathered by the Leeds collector Frank Kidson. Expect the usual professional performance from Pete and Alice and no doubt a large helping of material from the new CD. Should be a great night!!

Regards

Andy

We had a preview of the show at Kirkham before the official launch.

There's a wide variety of songs, but all are performed skilfully and sympathetically to produce an interesting and very enjoyable evening.

Recommended. They bring a harmonium too!
