Hey Guys and Gals, In the last few days when I've come to M'cat I find it doesn't work like it used to. When I open a thread and then hit the 'back' button, it automatically closes M'cat and returns me to my browser. It didn't used to do that. Has something changed at M'cat or is the problem on my end? My browser is MSN internet explorer. Anyone else having this problem.

Fred

It's just natural selection taking it's toll on yet another banjo player... :-)

Sounds like it might be just you (or at least, it doesn't happen to me). You might do a re-install and see if that helps. You might check for an updated version while you're at it.

I use the same program, Banjoman and haven't had any problems, so I'll bet Allan might be right.

Has it happened at any other websites? Have you tried hitting the Forum Home at the bottom of each posting instead to see if the same thing happens? Or, the icon at the top, under the Mudcat Cafe words, where it says Lyrics, Forum & Chat?

Does it happen everytime yoou boot up? And, have you shutthe whole thing off, then rebooted, to see if that helps?

Then again, Art might be right.:-) Don't tell my dad I said that!

I seem to have ``Lost´´ the Detrace function
And I don't seem to get a warning when a new personal message comes in??
Never mind.....maybe it's something I've said?

I used to have a similar problem, but figured out that instead of hitting the BACK arrow, I was clicking in the close box. To keep myself from doing that I've taken to moving the Mudcat window so the close button is covered by the navigator bar...and, banjoplayer though I am, I figured that out all by myself.
