Subject: Lyr Req: why are you following this lady home boy From: Bug Girl Date: 30 Apr 14 - 11:19 AM I knew learned this rhyme or song when I was a kid it went: why are you following this lady home, boy you don't know do you that is all I remember the problem is all the searches want to give me the word home boy and it not why are you follow this lady home boy, it is why are you following this lady to her house and boy is the person the song is speaking to It was in the early 70s and the word home boy had not even come into use it, and there was no hip hop culture or slang and no rap music, so I know it was not home boy. If you can help me this, I can like sing it, but don't have the sheet music. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: why are you following this lady home boy From: Joe Offer Date: 30 Apr 14 - 01:41 PM Hi, Bug Girl- I Googled for "why are you following this lady home" "you don't know" (note quotation marks, which makes it search for phrases). Then I tried "why are you following" "you don't know" "lady home" boy. The only think I come up with, is this thread. But that's the general idea. Google for phrases that you remember exactly, and put them in quotes. If one phrase brings up too many results, use two phrases. But in this case, I came up with nothing. Play around with phrases you recall exactly. And if you find it, please post it here so we all can see it. -Joe- |
