Plans for a Stan Crowther memorial concert I believe imminent through "Little Pot stove" Judy Dalton also a Capstick memorial in the offing

Stan was mayor of Rotherham and MP, turned down a peerage, saw him once (that I remember!) at Barnsley with Lord Mason of Barnsley ~ Danny Clarke there too

Some stage may get chance to put his songs on Yorkshire Garland he had good 'uns and still sung by the likes of Dave Neale

What a very decent man - lovely to have the craic with - first met him at Redcar Folk Festival . Seemed too normal to be an MP (Member of Pariament).

Is "guest" above correct - chords are OK - but if you don't know the tune, well ....it could be anything

Another song from 'Way Back Then' ! Following on from Council meetings as to ways to augment The Rates (Pre Council Tax) , sthis song emerged as a not very serious suggestion !
