Sweeps weekend starts today in Kent. There will be live ( free )music in lots of the pubs. Some concerts and participation dancing. The web site gives details.

Rochester is a one street Town with a castle and cathedral. There will be dancing in the street all weekend during the day. Parking is limited but the train station is close to the town centre. It goes through till Monday ( the event, not the train)

There is usually at least one sing around and one play around in pubs on the edge of town - a 5 minute walk. The music sales are there to sell lots of melodeons + shakey eggs - you can't have too many melodeons! Not sure about the eggs.

One street? I take it that is John Street where that wonderful musical haven - The Good Intent is...
