Subject: Spanish luthier From: T in Oklahoma (Okiemockbird) Date: 19 Nov 99 - 07:46 PM I found a nice web site, owned by a maker of fine-looking medieval and renaissance instruments. Some of you might be interested. Point your browser to http://personal5.iddeo.es/ret007ei/reolid/index.htm T. |

Subject: RE: BS: Spanish luthier From: Little Neophyte Date: 19 Nov 99 - 08:33 PM Thanks Mockingbird, looks interesting to me Do vintage or very, very old instrument collections ever tour through cities like other museum and art exhibit tours? And if so, how would I be able to find out about that? I think that would really interest me. Little, oh, I mean Banjo Bonnie |

Subject: RE: BS: Spanish luthier From: T in Oklahoma (Okiemockbird) Date: 19 Nov 99 - 09:35 PM Can we still call you Little Neo ? Anyhow, I never heard of an instrument collection touring. Maybe some other Mudcatter has. It sure would be nice. Until your idea catches on, the web at least gives us two-dimensional views of some collections. A number of them are linked to http://www.s-hamilton.k12.ia.us/antiqua/links.htm. T. |

Subject: RE: BS: Spanish luthier From: Art Thieme Date: 19 Nov 99 - 09:48 PM Bob Dylan wrote the song you're looking for. I hesitate to post it as it's his and with all the crap Max is going through... But I love the song --- "Boots Of Spanish Luthier" Art Thieme |

Subject: RE: BS: Spanish luthier From: Little Neophyte Date: 19 Nov 99 - 09:55 PM Hi Mockingbird I tried the sight but my server said try again. Taking too much time I guess Of course you can call me Little Neo. I kind of miss it. Some how I feel a bit of pressure carring a name like Banjo Bonnie. I feel I'm expected to know how to play well. But when those I respect advise me 'it's time to move along little buck', I listen. Since it's just you and me on this thread right now, can I tell you a story? I was working on the computer a few weeks agos when I heard the call of a blue jay (kind of a distinct sound). I turned around and saw him on my balcony railing. He had a shelled peanut in his mouth. He looked my way, put the peanut down on the balcony railing and proceeded to fly away. When I went out to see what it was he had left, I saw him fly by far in the distance and call again. Interesting hugh? I still have the peanut and keep it as a reminder that that is exactly what I am. A little peanut in the world of musicians. Little Bonnie Neo Banjo |

Helps me to understand why Olsmobile doesn't employ Lutherans too...must be a Catholic company, what with calling one of their cars a Toronado....... Spaw-Yeah, I know, its a stretch, but......... |
