Subject: RE: For Sale:Old Jack Richardson's Melodeons From: GUEST,Pam Thompson Date: 04 Jun 14 - 01:54 PM Ahh yes - Jack, Larry & Milky Keith - the original Odds & Sods! I played with Jack in the final days of Odds & Sods. In fact we played for a ceilidh just about a month before he died and he played well. I also hope his melodeons find good homes. |

Subject: For Sale:Old Jack Richardson's Melodeons From: GUEST,Pam Thompson Date: 03 Jun 14 - 07:18 AM Many of you may remember old Jack Richardson from Mansfield. He was a well known melodeon player in that area but also many of you may remember him from Whitby Folk Festival - playing in the Plough and the Plough yard and later in the Middle Earth during numerous folk weeks. Sadly, Jack died just before Christmas. He had been struggling with ill health for a couple of years but still played his melodeons up until about a fortnight before his death. I know there is an Obit. for him here on Mudcat. He left behind a number of melodeons which I am selling on behalf of his widow, Betty. I have described them here: http://forum.melodeon.net/index.php/topic,14849.0.html on Melodeon.net together with photos and prices. If anyone is interested in buying one, please pm me from the Melodeon.net site. Thank you Pam Thompson |
