Bill's Website is https://www.billgallaher.ca/. I had a delightful email exchange with Bill, and ended up buying both his albums and his songbook.

Hi. A couple of years ago Bill sent me the song book in electronic form, along with a couple of copies of his CDs to sell. I am not sure if he is okay with me selling or sharing the eCopy, but I can ask, if there is interest. Bill is one heck of a nice guy!! - Jack

For some reason, I can't load the website with Firefox, but it works fine in Chrome. There's a "Contact" link there.

Yes, I have his songbook, however it is not for sale. You might try contacting Bill directly.

Try this (the URL is far too long for any shortening or blickifying utility):

That's one I can't help with. Dad (John Dwyer) had a lot of song books from the US and Canadian west coasts, but that was published the year after he died.

Bill has written a number of books that aren't songbooks, including The Promise. I never got the song book, just a couple CDs. This is Bill's website, and there's a "contact" link ("to order my CDs"): www.billgallaher.ca/#!books/cnec
The songbook's probably the one Amergin mentioned, but Bill's a nice guy and may know where you can find one.

From an ABE review..... of The Promise"Bill Gallaher first wrote a song about the Camerons and as a result of further extensive research, wrote (a book) The Promise."

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

Tell more....what piqued your interest?

My "go to source" for obscure books is....

abebooks.com (aka "Antique Book Emporium")

They have several possible hits for your author....Bill Gallaher,

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

I have purchased an uncanny number of Northern Hemisphere published books....that ended up in NZ and OZ.   All old, unused, and obscure.

I've been told that Bill Gallaher, of Victoria, B.C, Canada, has published a song book that is now out of print. Does anyone know the correct title of this book? Is anyone willing to sell me a copy? bob(deckman)nelson (in the Seattle area)
