This is one of the funniest calypsos I've ever worked on. Sounds like it could be a George Formby tune:

The Lost Watch - Duke of Iron

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6iBhdFL9a4Q

What a confusion
A fellow lost his watch in the railway station
What a confusion
A fellow lost his watch in the railway station
A Saga girl name Imelda
Was suspected of bein' the burglar
She had no purse, no pocket in her clothes
But where she had the watch, only goodness knows
And they hearin'

Tick...Tick...Tick
Everybody lookin'
Tick...Tick...Tick
See them how they searchin'
Tick...Tick...Tick
That's all they hearin'
But they coul'nt find out where the watch was hidin'

So, under suspicion
They took her down to the police station
And sent for the matron
To examine every piece of clothes that she had on
The matron examine with care
She even make her pull out her long hair
She searched her, she couldn't search no more
But the watch now tickin' louder than before
But they hearin'

(Chorus)

The matron hit on an idea
That she could find the watch around somewhere
She said she had an incentive
And she could find the watch given privilege
They divest Miss Imelda entirely
And search her as if she was crazy
The search was such so they decide that they turn Imelda's inside outside

(Chorus)

Confusion now in the station
The matron searchin' by inspiration
The watch tickin' louder and louder
And the matron movin' up closer
The matron, convinced there's no doubt
She push her hand up inside Melda's...mouth
And did you know, her idea came true
For when she found the watch, it was ten to two
Still tickin'!

Tick...Tick...Tick
Everybody lookin'
Tick...Tick...Tick
See them how they searchin'
Tick...Tick...Tick
That's all they hearin'
But they now find out where the watch was hidin'
