Can anyone recommend any extra extra large thumb picks ? The largest I have found in a very years of looking snap after about two weeks of stretching over my thumbs. I don't think I am particularly large!

Blue Chips. Stainless steel band, springy and strong - won't break. Plastic blade for a nice sound. Very, VERY expensive, but worth the investment, if you're prepared to take great care not to lose it. Available only from the manufacturer in the USA.

Dunlop white thumbpicks as used by Jansch and many others, or steel dobro thumpicks.
