I link to Caz Smith who lists that end of Wales seems to be a few possibilities there.

otherwise see cresby.com > UK & RoW listing site links inc Wales

Also Riverside Folk Club Mondays at the Boat Club, Loughor - alternate 'plugged' and 'unplugged' evenings, Valley FC at Pontardawe Fridays (1st and 3rd), and Llantrisant (nearer to Cardiff) on Wednesdays. They've recently moved home, if you join Mudcat (free), you can use the personal message system to contact Splott Man of this parish, who will know more. Or try Folk Wales here.

Hope to see you around

Andrew

Halfpenny Folk Club meets Sundays at the Greyhound, Oldwalls, Gower - singaround during the summer. Joy Toole, who runs the club, also runs a tune session in the Barham chapel, Parkmill, one Wednesday a month - not sure which one. Contact her through the club website here.

Thanks for those suggestions -Anything else happening? I sing and play guitar, melodeon and bass. Any folk sessions in pubs? round the Gower? Towards Cardiff?

Hello there's a great music listing from Cas on the valley folk Club Pontardawe website.
Are you watching listening playing or singing? Everything is welcome but style is mostly very broadly traditional.

Rhyddings Hotel in Swansea has a tunes session on the second Saturday of the month. Kicks off about 8.30. Anything folky is welcome.

Just moved temporarily to Aberavon for the summer. I'm looking for where to find a "what's on" for the area, in the way of sessions and folk clubs. Is there a local mag for the area?
