Hi everyone

Just to let you know that due to a widening difference in expectations on both sides we will not be running sessions in the First Inn Last Out during folk week this year. Nor is it intended to continue with the regular Tuesday or first Saturday of the month sessions.

In the interim we have agreed with the Fleece to run a session each Wednesday starting at 8:30 ish. We will also be found in there during folk week.

That's sad. I enjoyed it in the past when I have been.

You seem to have a bit of a torrid relationship.

Hello peeps -
Mirroring what has already been said. I am very sad to advise that the 'First In Last Out' is no longer a viable venue for folk music and has become a 'jock/testosterone pub'.
Over the past several months there has been a growing 'conflict of interest' between management and the 'folkies', namely the management have been all take while we have had to constantly give.

After 11+ years there will no longer be sessions of any description hosted by myself at the FILO venue, now, during or after the forthcoming Folk Festival.

Negotiations have taken place and the new venue is the 'Fleece', where the beer and the landlord is like the music we play - REAL, so come join us every Wednesday evening 8.30pm onwards
